Remote Dental Transcriptionist

Fulltime : 40 hours per week

Pay: $8-10 per hour

We are seeking a remote dental transcriptionist to transcribe video content for our continuing professional development (CPD) courses. As our transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately converting video recordings from lectures, seminars, and workshops into text for various learning platforms. This role requires strong technology skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

– Accurately transcribe audio and video content from dental CPD courses and lectures

– Proofread transcripts to ensure accuracy and clarity

– Edit transcripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.

– Meet turnaround times and transcription standards

– Use transcription software and equipment proficiently

– Utilize proper dental terminology appropriately in all transcribed documents

– Upload and sync transcripts to various learning management systems and e-learning platforms

– Troubleshoot technical transcription issues

– Ensure formatting and timestamps meet transcription guidelines

– Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts

Requirements:

– Fluency in both English and Spanish

– Excellent grasp of dental terminology and concepts

– Tech savviness and ability to quickly learn new software platforms

– Strong written communication and proofreading abilities

– Ability to work independently and in a team

– Experience as a dental assistant or relevant experience
