Duties and Responsibilities:

• Places trips as received daily, and reviews all runs to ensure tours are properly and effectively assigned to drivers. The Optimizer is looking to schedule trips two weeks in advance.
• Identifies vehicle deficiencies and works with the Dispatch Supervisor/Coordinator and Maintenance to communicate vehicle and driver needs for future day operations.
• Works as liaison between the Praece, Verizon, Trip Master and drivers to insure proper use of tablet. Communicates issues and provides status reports of dayto-day operational issues when using technology is addressed. – Trains dispatchers on proper use of all functions and updates of Trip Master.
• Assists the Dispatch Supervisor/Coordinator with management of Subscription trips.
• Checks to ensure subscription trips/tours are properly assigned, optimized to ensure OTP, and repetitive trips/tours are properly organized and managed.
• Review future day trips, anticipates and prevents potential problems. Optimizes placement of trips for current and future trips. Is always looking ahead to properly plan placement of trips.
• Solution oriented attitude will ensure all trips/tours are efficiently routed in all service areas utilizing dispatch software and available manpower.
• Adjusts vehicle tours to ensure accurate expedient trip planning results, i.e. makes sure all tours for ADH are placed in a consistent manner to ensure dispatcher has the ability to properly manage drivers when having to act as a dispatcher.

Requirements:

• PC / laptop with at least 16GB of RAM
• Wired DSL / Fiber Optics internet connection with recommended 20 Mbps of speed
• Noise cancellation headset
