I’ve worked with Doctors and NPs for my whole experience as a VMA. I did scheduling, calling patients for inbound and outbound calls. Processes PA and Appeals. I also have a background in medical coding and billing for Sleep Studies. I contact insurance companies to verify patients’ benefits and coverage. With my previous job, I managed the communications email and faxes. I also answered phone calls, signed orders on behalf of the provider, and completed death certificates for deceased patients. Basically, I have all the qualifications for being a Virtual Medical Assistant. Aside from almost 3 years of experience in the VA world, I also have 5 years of experience in BPO handling Insurance benefits. I have great communication skills.
