We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our personal injury law firm. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and will play a pivotal role in guiding them through the initial stages of their legal journey. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional empathy, strong interpersonal & communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to provide potential clients with the highest level of care and gather crucial information for assessing their cases.
We need a team member who can take control of the front-end client experience by directing leads to our office, performing an initial consultation, getting the prospective client to engage the firm, and then on-board the person as a client of the firm.
Goal: Sign 15+ clients a month
Some key responsibilities include:
- Be the initial point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance for personal injury cases, demonstrating unwavering empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct thorough telephone consultations with potential clients to gather information about their case, injuries, circumstances and on-board the person as a client of the firm.
- Carefully evaluate the viability of potential cases by assessing key details, including liability, injuries, damages, and other relevant factors.
- Convey confidence that we can help potential clients with their needs
- Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us
- Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources
- Oversee the smooth transition of new cases to the legal team
- Provide clear and empathetic explanations of the legal process, firm services, and fees to potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Maintain meticulous records and notes of all client interactions, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Assist in marketing and outreach efforts to support lead generation and client acquisition, always maintaining a caring and empathetic approach.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Understand how to build a relationship with a person and how to interact with different types of personalities. With exceptional empathy and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with potential clients.
- Know how to close a sale by creating urgency and promoting value
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills
- Think on their toes and won’t get discouraged when things don’t go as planned
- Be willing and able to quickly learn about new topics (like the intake process and legal system)
- Proficient with computers, office software, social media, web-based programs, and phone systems
- Have sales and marketing experience (such as hospitality, food service industry, etc.)
- Legal experience not required
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9AM to 5PM MST
