Medical Coder/Biller

Urgent Hiring: Medical professional or any medical allied course graduate with 1 year experience in medical coding/billing.

 

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services performed by healthcare providers.

 

Responsibilities:

*Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services performed by healthcare providers.

*Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements.

*Conduct coding audits to monitor and improve coding accuracy and completeness.

*Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing department to resolve coding issues and discrepancies.

*Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and regulations.

 

Requirements:

*Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical coding

Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.

*Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with specific EMR/EHR or coding software

Rate: $5/hour
