As a Photo Editor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual representation of our products across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to bring out the best in every image.

VelvetCaviar is a leading fashion accessories brand with over 1+ million social media followers; established in New York in 2014. We’re mostly known for our fashionable phone cases which can be found in national retailers and on many celebrities! All products are designed in New York and assembled in the United States. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
– Image Enhancement: Edit and retouch product images to ensure they meet the high standards of Velvet Caviar’s visual identity.
– Consistency: Maintain visual consistency across all product images, adhering to the brand’s aesthetic and style guidelines.
– Creativity: Bring a fresh perspective to our product photography by introducing creative and innovative editing techniques.
– Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Product Designer, Graphic Designers, to produce assets that match the brand’s aesthetics and guidelines.
– Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on edited images to guarantee accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
– Efficiency: Manage and prioritize a high volume of images, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.
– Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in photography and editing to continually elevate our visual content.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Digital Arts, or related field
– Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in photo editing, preferably in the e-commerce or fashion industry.
– Technical Proficiency: Expertise in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
– Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of editing skills, with an emphasis on product photos.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished and high-quality images.
– Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our visual content.
– Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to evolving priorities.
– Commitment: Can work from 8am to 4pm EST, Monday to Friday.
