We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Podcast Assistant/Admin. As a key member of our podcasting team, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of podcast production and administration to ensure the smooth operation and success of our podcast. Responsibilities:
- Guest Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate with potential guests, schedule interviews, and ensure smooth communication between guests and the studio. Utilize calendaring tools such as Calendly to manage hosts’ schedules efficiently, ensuring smooth recording sessions and timely releases.
- Basic Photo Editing: Edit and enhance images for use in podcast thumbnails, social media posts, and other promotional materials to maintain a consistent and visually appealing brand image.
- Video Audit: Review both long and short-form videos produced by the creative team to ensure quality and alignment with podcast standards before publishing.
- Content Management: Ensure timely posting of podcast episodes across platforms and manage the creation and posting of reels to engage the audience effectively.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies to optimize podcast titles and descriptions for maximum visibility and discoverability across various platforms.
- Social Media Management: Manage social media platforms to promote podcast episodes, engage with the audience, and cultivate a vibrant online community around the podcast brand.
- Creative Team Management: Act as a liaison between the creative team, managing workflows, deadlines, and deliverables to maintain smooth collaboration and production efficiency.
- Sponsorship Coordination: Identify potential podcast sponsorship opportunities, assist in negotiating sponsorship deals, and coordinate sponsored content in alignment with the podcast’s branding and audience.
Requirements:
- Availability to work in US hours to accommodate scheduling needs and team collaboration.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for image enhancement and manipulation.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Calendly.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) for efficient document management and collaboration within the team.
- Basic video editing skills are not required but are considered an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in podcast production or administration is preferred but not required.
- Weekly Pay via PayPal
- $4-5/hour | 45 hours per week
