Job Description: Remote Project Manager (Virtual Assistant) – Summit Design Build
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Project Manager (Virtual Assistant) to join our team at Summit Design Build in Winnipeg, Canada. As a Virtual Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing various construction projects from a remote location. Your primary responsibilities will include estimating, compiling quotes, scheduling, reviewing drawings, and managing other tasks associated with our construction projects in Winnipeg.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimating:
– Conduct detailed cost estimation for construction projects in Winnipeg, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant expenses.
– Utilize industry standards and historical data to develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
– Collaborate remotely with the leadership team and stakeholders to present and discuss project budgets.
2. Project Planning and Execution:
– Collaborate remotely with the leadership team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for construction projects in Winnipeg.
– Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution in the Winnipeg area.
– Oversee project progress through virtual communication channels, identifying potential risks, and proactively implementing corrective actions for Winnipeg projects.
3. Quote Compilation and Analysis:
– Source and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers in Winnipeg to obtain competitive quotes for construction materials and services.
– Analyze quotes remotely, negotiate pricing, and recommend the best options for Winnipeg projects to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
4. Scheduling and Resource Management:
– Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules for Winnipeg projects, ensuring that timelines are met and milestones achieved.
– Coordinate remotely with various teams in Winnipeg, including construction crews, architects, and engineers, to allocate resources efficiently.
5. Drawing Review and Compliance:

7. Quality Control and Safety:

– Champion and enforce rigorous safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
8. Communication and Reporting:
– Serve as the primary remote point of contact for all project-related communications with clients, stakeholders, and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
– Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and status presentations to the management team for Winnipeg projects.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
– Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, particularly in multi-family residential and commercial projects, with a strong background in estimating.
– Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations relevant to Canada.
– Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills for remote work
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively
– Proficiency in project management software and virtual collaboration tools.
– Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects remotely in Winnipeg.

Work Hours
Mondays to Fridays 9AM to 5 PM CST (variable depending on work load)
Pay Rate – 6 to 12 CAD per Hour, depending on experience and skill set. candidates that excel will be rewarded increases in pay
