Job Opportunity: Sales Support at an Exciting Venture Capital Startup, Shaw Ventures
Role and Responsibilities:
Sales Support at Shaw Ventures will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our firm and customers, and will be responsible for understanding our product offering, leveraging that knowledge to assist our sales team in pre and post-sales support with current and prospective clients. While this is not an immediate requirement, the successful candidate should be open to acquiring some technical knowledge to better understand and promote our products.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the sales team in presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
● Work closely with the product team to communicate customer needs and gather insights to enhance our product offerings.
● Develop a deep understanding of our products, investment focus areas, and industry trends to address customer queries effectively.
● Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their technical needs and offering solutions. Effectively communicate our value proposition and tailor messaging to resonate with different audiences.
● Assist in creating and updating technical sales documentation, including brochures, manuals, and presentations.
● Consistently meet and exceed agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
● Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of individuals.
● Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
● Ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
● Proficient in using MS Office, CRMs, and support tools.
● High level of organization, attention to detail, and strong multitasking and time management skills.
● Results-oriented mindset with a tenacious attitude toward achieving goals.
● Entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine passion for innovation and startups.
● Knowledge of the venture capital and startup ecosystem is a plus.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Position: Remote, Full-Time Sales Support
Salary: $700-850 AUD / month
