We are looking for an awesome WordPress developer to work for our growing media / SEO agency.

We have a loyal base of clients that need help maintaining their websites in technical SEO.

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in WordPress development and be familiar with the latest web technologies and trends.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, as well as working closely with our design team to create custom themes and plugins.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Building WordPress Websites from PSD and Adobe XD designs
• Conducting monthly WordPress Maintenance updates to plugins, themes, core
• Troubleshooting WordPress issues that present on client’s websites
• Completing website Design Audits
• Managing your workload in ClickUp

Must be able to:

• Create themes from scratch using Bootstrap and use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create super fast websites!
• Work with off the shelf theme builders like Divi, WP Bakery, Elementor.
• Strong experience with WooCommerce and Multi-Sites
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning WordPress websites and associated plugins.
• Research and provide plugin solutions for the needs of client
• Optimisation of websites for performance, security, and SEO
• Understand Mobile-first design principles and interpret desktop designs into mobile versions without designer assistance.
• Speed optimise websites to achieve 90+ Desktop & Mobile on Google Page Speed results.
• Integrate APIs into our builds (Google Maps API, Salesforce API etc)

What you will bring to the table:

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (BONUS)
• Must have fast internet connection, own PC (and ideally 2 monitors)
