Looking for 1-2 self-motivated VA(s) – independent worker and fast learner for a digital food and gardening media publication.
Please send an email with the following to:
– Your details (name, location, rates)
– Tasks / position you’re applying for, your qualifications for those tasks / positions
Key attributes:
– Can apply for both sides (food and gardening) or apply just to one
– Can apply for all tasks or some (listed below)
– Can be structured as hourly ($10 to $20 per hour, based on qualifications and performance) or task basis (e.g., per post written)
Qualifications:
– Native proficiency in English
– Familiar with Wordpress, Facebook, Instagram and newsletters
– Familiar with cooking and baking (no actual cooking is needed, but needs to be familiar with verbiage, understand tips, etc)
– Familiar with Instant Pot / air fryer
– Familiar with vegetable gardening
– Strong attention to detail
– Familiarity with Clickup is a strong plus!
Key tasks:
1. Post Writing:
– Writing and uploading food and gardening posts into Wordpress (no AI please!)
– Optimizing posts using provided SEO tool (e.g., RankIQ, Surfer SEO)
– Uploading provided photos into Wordpress, including descriptions / alt-text, etc.
– Creating featured images using templates and provided photos / stock photos in Canva
2. Social Media Management:
– IG static image posts and reels uploading (using Tailwind) using provided schedule
– FB post scheduling (using Social Bee)
– Respond to comments on IG, blog, and FB
– Upload Youtube videos and manage comments
3. Support for Newsletters
– Responding to inquiries / comments
– Newsletter blasts for holidays and other events
– Monitoring how forever email series is doing and notate strong and weak links
– Think and create opt-in pieces and any other resources for new and active users
– Other admin items as needed
This is a contracted position and will be invoiced through PayPal.
