About the Candidate

My name is Brendell John Roa. I am a licensed pharmacist with almost a decade of work experience in the Philippines. I have worked in both community and hospital settings. I have mastered transcribing medical prescriptions and encoding patient profiles to the system. I have good communication skills as I was exposed to patient counseling.
I have also worked in a hospital setting wherein my task involved encoding and processing prescription orders for our outpatient clients that would average from 150-200 transactions per day.
Lastly, I was able to manage the operation of 3 pharmacy branches here in our area where I handled administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, email management, maintaining records of sales, and accounting reports.

I was qualified to undergo the Healthcare Virtual Assistant training given by Hellorache (a leading Healthcare Virtual Assistant Service Agency in the Philippines). They taught me all of the things needed to be a certified HVA in the US healthcare setting and I was also certified by HIPAA. During our training, they always let us perform typing tests wherein I frequently scored 70-90wpm. We were also able to hone medical transcribing, and patient scheduling, at the same time we learned how to perform prior authorization and referrals, phone call handling, and other tasks needed to be an admin Healthcare virtual assistant.
