About the Candidate
Hi, my name is Madelyn Zamodio, and I’m from the Philippines. I was a Social Worker from 2011 to 2013, working with families and communities. Currently, I have been working as an Administrative Assistant for almost nine years under the Philippine Government. My job functions include handling clerical and administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and documentation. I am responsible for managing the Crime Information, Reporting, and Analysis System (CIRAS)—a database that standardizes the procedure for electronically storing all crime incidents reported to police stations.
I prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents, assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments, coordinate the procurement and distribution of supplies and equipment, and provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned. I also conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and program development, and I prepare reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes, including monthly accomplishments.
In addition to my government work, I am also a part-time Travel Agent, with several successful domestic bookings. I create my own posters, graphic designs, and videos to showcase my products. We attend various training sessions via Zoom when not busy. Last May, I attended a Social Media Management course to expand my knowledge in running my business and to pursue a part-time job related to Social Media Management. I have earned certificates in Video Editing, Graphic Design, and Copywriting.
I am eager to find a work-from-home job, preferably a part-time position in Administrative Tasks, Social Media Management, or as a Virtual Assistant. I believe I am well-suited for this job because of my extensive experience in administrative tasks and my determination to explore the virtual industry.
