About the Candidate

Owen Brian Guamos is a licensed professional teacher and English education specialist with four years of experience in secondary education. He earned a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from Gordon College and is currently pursuing a Master of Education major in English at President Ramon Magsaysay State University. His strong academic foundation and commitment to continuous learning have helped him develop expertise in English language instruction, curriculum development, and student-centered teaching.

As a Junior High School English Teacher at Olongapo Wesley School Inc., he has successfully planned and delivered engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards while addressing the diverse learning needs of students. His experience includes classroom management, assessment design, educational technology integration, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. He is dedicated to supporting students’ academic growth, character development, and overall well-being through effective communication, guidance, and mentorship.

In addition to his teaching experience, he possesses strong administrative and organizational skills that translate well to remote and virtual work environments. He is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheet creation, database and document management, social media management, project coordination, email communication, and Canva. His attention to detail, time management abilities, and professional communication skills enable him to efficiently handle administrative tasks and support team operations.
