Automation Specialist

Position Overview: Automation Specialist to design, build, and optimize AI-powered workflows that eliminate manual work, connect business systems, and deliver actionable insights.

Job Title: Automation Specialist

You’ll work closely with the COO and Growth Team to build scalable automations that support daily operations across customer service, marketing, reporting, and other key business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage AI agents for operational workflows.
• Design automations using LLMs (Claude, GPT, or similar) to improve business processes.
• Automate reporting by integrating data from multiple business platforms.
• Connect systems using APIs, REST integrations, and webhooks.
• Maintain and improve existing Python- and AI-powered automation pipelines.
• Identify repetitive business processes and develop automation solutions with measurable ROI.
• Create clear documentation to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with experience in:

• Building AI-powered workflows using LLM APIs (Claude, GPT, or similar).
• Prompt engineering, structured outputs, and AI agent development.
• Python programming, including API authentication, JSON handling, scheduling, and error handling.
  REST APIs and webhook integrations.
• Data integration and automated reporting across multiple platforms.
• Working independently while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Following security best practices for API keys, customer data, and system access.

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Shopify
• Klaviyo
• Gorgias
• Meta Ads
• Triple Whale
• Apify
• Slack API
• E-commerce and DTC operations
• What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will:

• Successfully take ownership of existing AI automation systems.
• Fully automate weekly reporting across Growth and Customer Support.
• Deliver at least one new automation that saves the team significant hours every week.
• Improve the reliability and scalability of the company’s automation infrastructure.
