Position Overview:
The E-commerce Business Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of the e-commerce operations within the organization. This role involves analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize various aspects of the e-commerce business, including sales, customer experience, inventory management, and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
  • Gather, organize, and analyze e-commerce data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms to manipulate and interpret data effectively.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the e-commerce dataset.
  • Evolve the web analytics implementation to feed and drive the customization of internal dashboards and reports to meet business objectives and manage best practices standards
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on KPIs
Testing Champion:
  • Creating a test-and-learn agenda that informs current and future strategies inclusive of site and marketing.
  • Develop a culture of continuous learning and development by sharing data results and recommendations on a consistent basis
Performance Metrics:
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce operations.
  • Monitor sales figures, conversion rates, website traffic, cart abandonment rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to share findings with relevant stakeholders.
Customer Behavior Analysis:
  • Analyze customer journey and behavior on the e-commerce platform to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance the user experience and drive higher engagement and conversions.
Market Trends and Competitor Analysis:
  • Research and monitor industry and market trends in e-commerce.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Provide recommendations to stay competitive and innovative in the market.
Marketing and Promotions:
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide insights to improve targeting, messaging, and overall campaign performance.
  • Share insights on creative performance and provide recommendations and testing strategies to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop goals and continually analyze & test emails to improve customer experience and/or ROI.
Data-Driven Insights:
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for various departments, including marketing, sales, and product development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes based on analytical findings.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Proactively identify process bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement process enhancements that result in better e-commerce performance.
Cross-functional Support
  • Work closely with e-commerce staff during code deployments, troubleshooting efforts
  • Serve as the transportation expert to support e-commerce and omnichannel projects
  • Complete first-round QA on our development instance
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-commerce websites/portals.
  • Knowledgeable of the e-commerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading e-commerce website builders (e.g. Shopify, Google Analytics UA & GA4), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
  • Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.
  • Proficient experience in test and learn strategies, planning, and implementation
  • Experience in different media and marketing platforms (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, Attentive, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web design and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • BSC degree in Marketing or relevant field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Php60,000.00 – Php70,000.00 per month
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 10am-7pm EST Time (1 hr break)
