Claimsline Group, a leading claims management company based in the UK, is seeking a talented and experienced News and Research Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing timely and engaging news articles, with a focus on the legal, finance, insurance, flight, and auto industries. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, original content that aligns with our brand voice, style, and SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Write and deliver timely news articles on legal, finance, insurance, flight, and auto industries.
- Ensure all content is original, high-quality, and plagiarism-free.
- Align content with brand voice, style, and SEO best practices.
- Utilise AI writing tools if desired, ensuring content remains 100% unique and of high standards.
- Research:
- Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant information into content.
- Ability to research and write on a wide range of topics within the specified industries.
- Editing and Proofreading:
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it is error-free and meets high-quality standards.
- Maintain consistency in tone and style across all content pieces.
- Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop strategies that meet business goals.
- Generate content ideas that attract and engage our target audience.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyse content performance using tools like Google Analytics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for content improvement based on performance data.
- Independent Work:
- Work independently without the need for supervision.
- Adhere to deadlines and produce fact-checked accurate articles.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in news and research writing.
- Proven news writing experience, especially in legal, finance, insurance, flight, and auto industries.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality and engaging content.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong grammar and language skills.
- Creative and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and refine content strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:
- Location: Remote
- Hours: Flexi-working hours, 9am-5pm UK Monday to Friday.
- 1 hour paid break
- No time tracking softwares/screenshots. Work is project-managed in Asana/slack.
- A flexible working environment with no time trackers or micromanagement.
