Multimedia and Marketing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a versatile and creative Multimedia and Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for enhancing our visual content through photo and video editing, updating our website and newsletter, and contributing to marketing strategy development. While experience in yoga, health, and wellness is a plus, it is not required. Proficiency in Squarespace is preferred but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos for various marketing channels, including social media, website, and email campaigns.
• Edit and enhance photos and videos using Canva or similar software to maintain brand consistency and quality.
• Update website content, including product information, blog posts, and landing pages, using Squarespace or similar platforms.
• Manage and maintain the company newsletter, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging.
• Drive the marketing initiative, orchestrating the development, implementation, and enhancement of effective strategies and campaigns, culminating in comprehensive plans integrating market analysis, audience segmentation, and campaign planning.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of visual content and marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in multimedia editing, web design, and digital marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in photo and video editing software, preferably Canva but open to other editing platforms such as, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience managing and updating websites using platforms like Squarespace or similar content management systems.
• Strong creative skills with a keen eye for design, layout, and aesthetics.
• Understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with the ability to contribute ideas and execute plans effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in marketing, multimedia editing, or web design roles is required.
• Experience in yoga, health, and wellness is a plus, but not required.
• This role entails a blend of multimedia editing (60%) and marketing endeavors (40%).
