The Senior Manager, Accounting Services, will assume a pivotal leadership role within NextKey Services, overseeing accounting professionals and ensuring the delivery of superior client service. This position is ideal for a candidate with a robust background in accounting, expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or XERO, and a proven ability to manage and adapt to the dynamic needs of diverse clients. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader, demonstrating excellence in client engagement and a strong track record in managing high-quality accounting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and client-focused delivery.
- Serve as a primary client liaison, managing key client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring the delivery of tailored accounting solutions.
- Oversee the month-end close process for multiple clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting.
- Direct the management of the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance activities, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize expertise in QBO and/or XERO to oversee financial data management, report generation, and financial projections.
- Implement and refine internal financial controls and procedures, promoting operational efficiency and integrity.
- Drive strategic analysis and offer insights to optimize client financial performance and business growth.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring comprehensive support for client needs.
- Resolve client inquiries and challenges, providing exemplary service and fostering long-term relationships.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA required.
- 10+ years of extensive accounting experience, with a focus on client services and team leadership.
- Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or XERO is essential, other accounting and reporting systems are a bonus.
- Must be available to work US Hours (Central Time) to align with company and client schedules.
- Possess reliable equipment for remote work, with potential for upgrades post-trial period based on performance.
- Experience in a remote work environment preferred, showcasing effective virtual team management and client engagement.

- Excellent organizational talents, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Prior consulting experience is preferred.
