Social Media Manager (Remote, Full-Time)

Your Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our crypto news and media team. We are looking for someone who is a crypto native and already immersed in crypto culture, and actively following news and trends in the industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms including Twitter / X, Telegram, Linkedin, and others to build brand awareness, drive engagement and grow our community metrics. You will also be responsible for creating and curating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of social media management, be fully immersed within the crypto culture, and have a fluent understanding of English grammar. Having a sense of humor and a keen eye for detail is also a big plus.

What is Crypto Briefing?

Crypto Briefing was founded during the 2017 crypto-boom to highlight the builders and call out the scammers. We went on to raise $2 million in late 2018. From its origins in New York, Crypto Briefing has grown into a global news and research organization that spans every time zone.

Now, Crypto Briefing and its research division SIMETRI (the opposite of ‘asymmetry’) aims to give retail investors the same privileged look into the markets that insiders have. We’ve systematically evaluated hundreds of crypto projects to deliver profitable insights to our subscribers and continue to report on the emerging trends in the industry.

Qualifications

-At least two to three years of social media management experience at a social media management agency. Bonus points if you have worked at a high growth web3 or blockchain project.

-At least one to two years involvement in the cryptocurrency industry.

-Familiarity engaging with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Dall-E, and Midjourney.

-Ability to work independently and remotely with a portion of your availability during peak hours U.S. Eastern Time (somewhere between 8am ⁠— 6pm GMT-5)

Bonus Points

-A degree in finance, mathematics, computer science or engineering.

-Prior experience working in gaming, media, or high-growth startups.

-Domain knowledge of web3 gaming, traditional gaming, cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, DeFi, and smart contracts.
