Summary
This position is for a Virtual Assistant who will provide accounting services to our business based in Sydney, Australia primarily using Xero and VaultRE software within a Google Workspace environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, reconciling, invoicing, payroll, reporting, and tax compliance in an Australian environment. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks using Xero and VaultRE software
Process transactions, invoices, bills, payments, receipts, and expenses.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, projects, and other accounts.
Post manual journals to adjust Prepaid Income and Sales
Prepare and submit for approval payroll, superannuation, and tax obligations with Xero.
Processing sales through VaultRE and monitoring automated Xero export.
Generate and analyse financial reports and statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders via email (primary), video call and phone.
Resolve any accounting issues or queries in a timely and professional manner.
Champion the Ray White Commercial (RWC) brand, strictly adhering to branding guidelines and policies.
Continually review and improve our Standard Operating Procedures user manual

Requirements
A degree, diploma or other qualifications in accounting, finance, or related field.
At least two years of experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar role.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Xero software
Proficient in VaultRE CRM software or willing to learn independently and quickly.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Access to a reliable internet connection, computer, and disturbance free work space.
