About the Candidate

I am writing to express my intention to apply for the position of Medical Scribe.

I obtained my degree in Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in July 2022. I gained further knowledge and practical clinical skills from my one-year internship at the East Avenue Medical Center. I passed the Physician Licensure Examination in October 2023. Since then, I served as a general physician for private clinics in Metro Manila, conducting outpatient consultations, annual physical exams, and pre-employment exams. Currently, I am employed as a part-time primary care physician in Keralty Gateway, Cubao and as a company physician at SM Cubao Department Store, where I oversee health-related concerns of employees and concessionaires.

As a licensed physician, I am an expert in recording patient history including symptoms, medications taken, physical examinations and assessments. I believe that my medical knowledge and experience offers a valuable perspective in the role of a medical scribe. However, I recognize that my lack of experience as a scribe means I would benefit from additional training. I am, therefore, eager and open to learning new skills and insights that will enable me to excel in this position if given the opportunity to work with your team.
