The Program Coordinator (Business Incubation) is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and management of incubation programs designed to nurture startups and early-stage businesses. This role involves coordinating workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the incubation program. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for entrepreneurship, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including startups, mentors, investors, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Coordination & Administration
- Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of business incubation programs.
- Manage program schedules, timelines, and logistics for workshops, training sessions, and networking events.
- Handle applicant intake, selection processes, and onboarding of startups into the incubation program.
- Maintain accurate records of program participants, mentors, and stakeholders.
2. Startup Support & Mentorship Facilitation
- Act as a liaison between startups, mentors, and industry experts.
- Coordinate mentorship sessions, pitch practices, and investor meetings.
- Track startup progress and provide necessary resources to support their growth.
- Assist startups in accessing funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.
3. Event & Workshop Management
- Organize and promote entrepreneurship-related events, including boot camps, demo days, and panel discussions.
- Coordinate with guest speakers, trainers, and facilitators for program sessions.
- Manage event registrations, attendance, and feedback collection.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, and academic institutions.
- Support marketing efforts to attract startups and promote the incubation program.
- Assist in securing sponsorships and collaborations to enhance program offerings.
5. Reporting & Evaluation
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) of the incubation program.
- Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve program effectiveness.
- Prepare reports for management and funding agencies as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, startup incubation, or entrepreneurship support.
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem, business development, and mentorship programs.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and event management software.
- Preferred:
- Experience working with incubators, accelerators, or venture capital firms.
- Knowledge of funding opportunities, grant writing, or investor relations.
