Job Title: Full-Time Bookkeeper (XERO) with Australian Client Experience
We are seeking a skilled and experienced bookkeeper to manage the financial records and transactions of our organization. The successful candidate will have expertise in using XERO, an accounting software platform, and will be familiar with Australian financial regulations and reporting requirements. This is a full-time position, and the bookkeeper will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the organization using XERO.
Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly.
Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and making payments on time.
Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting as required.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders as required
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally with experience working with Australian clients.
Proficiency in using XERO accounting software.
Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Certificate IV or higher in Bookkeeping or Accounting.
Work Hours and Schedule:
8am to 5pm Sydney time with 1 hour Lunch Break. Sat-Sun off
(hours and offs may still vary depending on job role)
