At Popcorn Growth, our most successful sales people don’t come from traditional sales backgrounds. Instead, they come from marketing backgrounds and jump on “sales” calls to understand the needs of brands and consult around how TikTok fits into overall marketing strategy and goals. Our salespeople are not “salespeople” in the traditional sense- They are TikTok strategists who provide thought expertise. The sales come naturally.

Because you are a TikTok strategist first, you will have opportunities to engage and advise senior stakeholders (VP of Marketing, CMOs) at high-value clients, providing expert insights on the influencer marketing and social media trends, and clearly establishing our value-add to the brands.

In this position, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that values impact, efficiency and independence. As a fully remote company, all of our team members are fully responsible for their roles and sphere of influence.

Your Goals

You work alongside the CEO and the sales leadership on strategic key accounts. While you have sales goals, your goals are achieved by being a TikTok strategist who helps brands think about how to leverage TikTok and influencer content to achieve overall marketing objectives and business goals.

Our training consists of:

  • Product and Value proposition training

  • Shadowing the Head of Sales on sales calls

  • Video recordings of sales calls and coaching

  • Planning key client accounts with the CEO

Compensation

  • $100,000 to $200,000 total on-target earnings (estimated 50% base 50% commission)

  • Signing bonus

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1 to 7 years of work experience in a creative, marketing, digital marketing or branding agency OR work experience at a social media company (i.e. Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.), specifically in account servicing or media planning for national or global brands

  • Ability to work under pressure and deal independently with senior clients in brands

  • Willing to learn quickly and be open to feedback, with the aim to become deep subject matter expert in social media marketing eventually

  • Travel within North America for client meetings expected (2-3 times a quarter)
